What’s Happening in Townsville this Weekend..

We’re already half way through 2014, but there’s so much more to do! Here’s what’s coming up next in Townsville this weekend;

1300SMILES Kids TRY Series

Saturday 12th July 2014
Strand Park, The Strand – Townsville
Rock Pool 3pm start 

The 1300SMILES Kids TRY Series is open to age 7-12 years and the events will feature; Rockpool Swim Leg – Ride around the NEW Jezzine Barracks – Runs along the Strand’s paved foreshore footpath into the Strand Park – Wave starts based on age group to enable small group starts.

All participants will receive a swim cap, event Singlet, a finisher’s medallion and all participants will go into the draw to WIN a TREK BIKE.

Road Trip by Damian Callinan

Townsville Civic Theatre, Wednesday 16th July 2014, 8pm

Comedians Damian Callinan and Mickey D are en route to Townsville to bring you their hilarious show Road Trip. The show will be skilfully put together with localised material, so yes, it’s going to be all about Townsville!! But this isn’t just a stand-up show, the third person to grace the stage will be award winning documentary film maker, Charlie Hill-Smith. Through Charlie’s talent and artistry you will see how the gentlemen spend their two days in Townsville before igniting on to the stage with a 90 minute celebratory roast.
