North Queensland is set to heat up as the V8 Supercars arrive at the Tropics for the Castrol Townsville 500

They are saying this year’s event is to be bigger and better than before! Everyone will enjoy the extra 100km of high octane V8 Supercar racing. For all of you rev heads out there, make sure you get down to the track in July!
There is going to be so much happening and will be a great day out for the whole family. The littl race fans can enjoy the Disney Fun Zone with new and exciting activities (under 14’s receive free trackside admission with a paying adult (one child per ticket). On the Saturday night for the adults there will be some live music from recording artists Jessica Mauboy & Vanessa Amorosi plus much, much more throughout the whole weekend!

We had a great day at the Melbourne Cup function, hosted by Riverview Tavern. We weren’t lucky enough to have a win but we did enjoy getting dressed up and heading out of the office for a couple of hours.
