Join Townsville City Council and celebrate the Christmas spirit with the 2015 Carols by Candlelight!
Held at Reid Park under the big top, the evening begins with pre-show entertainment showcasing some of Townsville’s local dance schools and up-and-coming soloists in the area. The event will be headlined by country music stars The McClymonts.
Santa Claus will also pop in for a special visit and some of the finest musical talent in the region will be performing.
Although we encourage patrons to bring cash for the food court, we will have ATM facilities on site.
Safe-flame candles will be for sale for $3.00 each with all proceeds going to the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Appeal. The Mayor’s Christmas Tree Appeal helps local families and individuals in need in the festive season.
With free entertainment, safe-flame candles, amusement rides for the kids the night is sure to be one to remember!

We had a great day at the Melbourne Cup function, hosted by Riverview Tavern. We weren’t lucky enough to have a win but we did enjoy getting dressed up and heading out of the office for a couple of hours.
