Ladies dust off those stilettos & facinators because it’s time for the Townsville Vet Clinic Ladies’ Day!
Held on Saturday 19th of July it is one of Townsville’s most enjoyable and prestigious race days on the Racing Calendar of Events! Hosted during some of our cooler months, this popular race event attracts a great crowd with fillies on and off the track!!
So get your girlfriends together and make a day of it!! There is plenty on offer for the serious and non serious punters from seven live local races, air conditioned bars, fantastic food & entertainment. Also plenty of seating as well as local bookmakers and an on course TAB. Gates open from 11am but the entertainment does not stop there!! After the last race make sure you stay into the night and party along to the fantastic live entertainment!

We had a great day at the Melbourne Cup function, hosted by Riverview Tavern. We weren’t lucky enough to have a win but we did enjoy getting dressed up and heading out of the office for a couple of hours.
