The 15th Glencore Greek Fest is on again!
This year there will be more Greek music, more cultural dancing, and more delicious Greek food than ever before!
The park will be filled with the unique sounds of both traditional and modern Greek music. There will be plenty of competitions, children’s entertainment, exciting rides, a fireworks display!

Townsville Artist Market
Saturday 18th October 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Riverway Arts Centre, 20 Village Boulevard, Thuringowa Central
Located at the Riverway Arts Centre, the Townsville Artist Market features a wide range of stalls by dedicated artists and crafts people from the region. From small wares to stunning feature paintings, you can find it all.
There is entertainment for everyone, including local musicians and roaming entertainment. The beautiful Riverway complex has a number of lagoons for swimming and shady BBQ areas perfect for the family get together. The mix of art, craft and music at the Artist Market will make for a fabulous day out.
New stall holders and entertainers are always welcome. Community and cultural groups are encouraged to get involved. A site fee of $10 applies. Stalls must be art or craft. Please email pinnacles@townsville.qld.gov.au for more information or phone the gallery on 07 4773 8871.

We had a great day at the Melbourne Cup function, hosted by Riverview Tavern. We weren’t lucky enough to have a win but we did enjoy getting dressed up and heading out of the office for a couple of hours.
